Katherine is originally from Milledgeville, GA where she was born and raised. She graduated in 2008 from Georgia College and State University with her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing and again 2020 with her Master’s of Science in Nursing. During her years in school she was a part of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society as well as holding a chairman position in philanthropy with her sorority Delta Zeta. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She recently moved to Sumter in June of 2021 with her husband Tech Sargent Adam Peil and 2 daughters Emory and Madilynn Rose. “I look forward to being a part of the Sumter community as well as a team member of Sumter Gastroenterology."
